I have written before about how precisely a lot I love Halloween, particularly the terror flicks that inevitably complete my personal Netflix waiting line each autumn.
I heard a good package of horror film feedback through the years, from “it simply provides insane people tactics” to “there should be something amiss with anyone who really wants watching these items.” I take it in stride, but this year, ultimately, I have a rebuttal: scary films tend to be matchmaking guidance in disguise.
Really? Yes, actually.
Dating can be a terrifying experience, so what better location to look for matchmaking advice than frightening movies? I’m not writing on any sort of strong, soul-searching knowledge here…but scary films do have some functional matchmaking information available (in addition to the nightmares that’ll affect you for per week after enjoying).
